The Celebration offers hands-on activities for young children, 1 – 8 years old.  Organizations from all over the Greater New Orleans area who serve young children and their families will provide activities where children can wash baby dolls, string necklaces, make music, and more.  There will also be face painting and chalk drawing.

In the Entertainment Area, children from area schools will provide dance, musical, and cheer performances; Curious George will be around all day.

“Our event is about fun for children and their families – parking is easy, no lines, no waiting,” says Jenni Evans, co-chair of the event. “Bring a picnic and some friends and plan to spend the day with us.”

This event is sponsored by the Greater New Orleans Association for the Education of Young Children and is FREE and open to the public.

Come play with us!
